CMMS for lift companies

Lift maintenance CMMS software to manage servicing and call-outs

Develift's lift maintenance CMMS software organises your engineers' work: service visit scheduling, route optimisation and call-out management. Its mobile app works offline, so engineers can complete reports, EDS and EDL on site, with anomaly alerts linked to the French SAE lift safety law and Construction and Housing Code (CCH).

Why choose lift maintenance CMMS software built for the industry

Schedules kept on spreadsheets, paper reports re-keyed at the office, information scattered between engineers and operations: every re-entry costs time and increases the risk of error. A missed visit or a poorly recorded anomaly exposes lift companies to non-compliance with the SAE law, the Construction and Housing Code and lift safety regulations.

Develift CMMS was designed for lift companies. It brings your lift portfolio, service visits and call-outs together in a single tool. Operations managers get an up-to-date view of activity, and engineers get a tool suited to their day-to-day work in the field.

  • Less re-keying between the field and the office
  • End-to-end traceability of visits and call-outs
  • Regulatory risks flagged at the right time

What CMMS changes for your operations

Features designed for operations managers and engineers alike, with one goal: keeping control of your lead times, costs and compliance.

Service visit scheduling

Schedule visits for every lift and track their completion without losing sight of your maintenance obligations.

Route optimisation

Plan your engineers' routes to cut unnecessary travel and handle the unexpected more easily.

Call-out management

Assign, track and close call-outs, from the initial request through to the engineer's report.

Offline mobile app

Your engineers can work in the lift shaft, the machine room or the basement, even with no signal.

Streamlined data collection

Job reports, EDS and EDL entered just once, on site, in a consistent format.

Regulatory anomaly alerts

Alerts warn you of any non-compliance with the SAE law, the CCH and lift safety regulations.

A mobile app designed for the field

In a lift shaft or machine room, there is often no signal. The Develift mobile app works offline: engineers can view their visits, record their findings and finalise their documents without waiting for a connection.

On site, they can directly enter:

  • job reports, written during or straight after the work;
  • EDS and EDL, structured to ensure the information is complete;
  • any anomalies found, reported back to operations.

As soon as the signal returns, the data is sent to the CMMS. The office no longer has to re-key paper forms, information arrives faster and operations managers can respond immediately to any issues flagged.

Frequently asked questions about CMMS for lift companies

Does the mobile app really work without a signal?

Yes. The app is designed for offline use, ideal for lift shafts, machine rooms and basements where coverage is poor. Engineers can view their visits and complete their documents offline. The data is then sent to the CMMS once a connection is available again, with no need for them to re-enter anything.

Which documents can engineers complete on site?

Engineers complete job reports, EDS and EDL on site, and record any anomalies found during visits. Structured data entry keeps information consistent from one engineer to the next and avoids the incomplete or illegible forms that previously had to be reworked at the office.

How do the SAE law and CCH alerts work?

The CMMS includes anomaly alerts designed to prevent non-compliance with the legal framework that applies to lift companies: the SAE law, the Construction and Housing Code and lift safety regulations. Operations managers are kept informed of the issues to address and can act before a discrepancy becomes a risk.

Do we need to install a server on our premises?

No. Develift CMMS is delivered as SaaS. There is no infrastructure for you to host or maintain in-house. Your operations teams access the software online and your engineers use the mobile app in the field, which simplifies roll-out and keeps associated IT costs down.

Can the CMMS be used alongside other Develift solutions?

The CMMS is part of a suite of applications built for lift companies, which also includes a customer portal and a CRM with workflow management. Depending on your organisation, you can start with the CMMS and then extend your scope. A conversation with our team will help identify the modules that suit your business.
